Recently, we saw the OnePlus 7 Pro launch and had a similar rumour which said that the OnePlus 10 series would be launched in Q3 2019. But now, reports are surfacing on the internet about the upcoming OnePlus 10 Series. According to our trusted source from China who has been very close with what is going inside OnePlus, OnePlus’ next flagship will be called OnePlus X and it will come with a full-screen display.
It’ll be powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor along with a triple rear camera setup while there might not be an in-display fingerprint scanner. Alongside this smartphone, there will also be two more devices – one of them being a high-end variant while another one being a cheaper version.
We have already seen some leaked renders of the OnePlus 10 Pro and we have even seen a leaked video of this device.
There’s another phone which is said to be launched alongside it and, hence, might also happen to be called the OnePlus X . It’ll probably carry a smaller display than the OnePlus 10 Pro but will be powered by the same set of internals. However, unlike its sibling, it won’t come with a triple rear camera setup and is expected to feature a single-rear sensor instead. It might also not include an in-display fingerprint scanner like its big brother.
We were already aware of the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro flagship but seeing the leaks of its cheaper version, it may be said that this device will probably replace the OnePlus 6T. It might even come with some new features which were not present in the OnePlus 6T since, on first impression, it doesn’t look like a T variant.
When it comes to the OnePlus X, there are no such details about this phone as of yet except for its name and a few other bits. It’s clear that both the OnePlus 10 series smartphones will launch sometime in Q3 2019 and we will definitely see more leaks and rumours once we get closer to the release date.
According to our source, both these devices won’t be having an official launch at MWC 2019 and are expected to hit stores sometime after mid-May. The cheapest version might be launched first while its sibling – the high-end model is scheduled for launch next month. As far as pricing is concerned, we expect them to cost around CNY 3,000 (Rs 32,000 approximately) for the base model and CNY 4, 000 (Rs 42,000 approximately) for the high-end model.
As of now, there are no reports or insider leaks about these devices that have surfaced online so all we could do is just wait for OnePlus to share an official statement about its upcoming handsets. It’s also possible that OnePlus releases something either in March or April announcing the launch date of both these devices. Until then, let’s not believe any rumours and keep waiting till OnePlus confirms the same officially.
